A Little About Me
Hi there!
I’m Grace Combs, a proud Nashville native and someone who’s always had a heart for helping others feel seen, heard, and supported. In my practice, my goal is to create a space that feels welcoming—like a deep breath—and where you feel safe bringing all the parts of yourself. I believe showing up fully and authentically is powerful, and I hope the work we do together doesn’t just stay in the room but becomes something you carry into your life.
I always knew I wanted to work in a helping profession. For a while, I thought that meant becoming an elementary school teacher, but it turns out my path led me somewhere even more aligned. I earned a degree in Child and Family Studies and a minor in Psychology, and along the way, I was deeply inspired by the helpers in my own life—family members and mentors who modeled what it means to show up with compassion and care.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals in all stages of life—those navigating anxiety, shame, perfectionism, family dynamics, grief, and relationship challenges. I lean into attachment-based theories because I believe we’re deeply shaped by the people around us. I also incorporate narrative and person-centered conversations to meet each person right where they are. Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all; I tailor our time together to reflect your unique story.
It’s such an honor to sit with people and hold space for their stories—the messy, the beautiful, and everything in between. If you think I might be the right fit for you, I’d love to connect and walk alongside you as you move through whatever season you’re in.
I’m currently working toward licensure under the supervision of Katie Scott, LMFT (#1471), and I offer both in-person sessions in Nashville, TN, and telehealth options for comfort and flexibility.
